BUSTER IV HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING AND A SLEEPOVER SCHEDULED!
This gorgeous Beagle boy was turned into Marion County Animal Services because his owner no longer wanted to take care of him. He would have very likely found a home but circumstances did not work in his favor. When shelter staff went into his kennel to put him on a slip lead, he gave them the slip instead. He had a great time scampering around the shelter as 6 staff members were chasing him, and no doubt all the other dogs in their kennels were barking like crazy! Buster had no collar on so they had to grab at him to catch him and poor little frightened Buster nipped at their hands. Unfortunately that meant he could no longer go on the adoption wing. Southeast Beagle Rescue was delighted to give this little Beagle boy a chance! He is in a foster home with several other dogs and doing marvelously with everyone. He does still have a lot of puppy in him and is a fairly active little guy so will need a home that can give him appropriate exercise. Buster IV is doing very well with house training, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and knows to sit for a treat. He is affectionate and enjoys being cuddled.
