RANGER II HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING AND IS ON A SLEEPOVER!
RANGER II is doing super-dooper well in his foster home! After the first two days his foster mom told us that he is a LOVER! Here's what else she said, "he loves to give kisses, sleep next to me and is very gentle. He likes napping on the sofa. He is really a small, gentle, happy doggy." Ranger learned to use the doggie door very quickly and he is doing great with house training (he may need a refresher course though when he goes to a new home). So far, he is pretty quiet. He is not a big fan of the crate, so foster mom has experimented with letting him stay out with her other dog when they leave. She was gone for 4 hours and he was an angel. That's encouraging, but we'd still recommend the crate when he is left alone on a sleepover - just to be safe. Ranger does not seem interested in toys, but he is in a foster home with a young male beagle mix only a little over a year old and they are now having a blast playing together - check out the little video clip below (note; once you click on the video, you can click on the YOUTUBE at the bottom right and go full screen).
