We think Savannah may have originally come from a puppy mill and was rescued by another organization in Citrus County. But then that group took in more dogs then they cold take care of and were forced to surrender many of the dogs they were trying to save to the County Animal Control. Savannah was at the shelter for over 2 months as the case worked its way through the legal system. Of course, once the case was decided Savannah was already out of time and we had to pull her immediately out of the shelter.

Savannah is a little skittish but already getting better aftr just a few hours of freedom. We would imagine that Savannah has spent most, if not all, of her life in kennels and cages so she is ready to explore his new world with gusto. We can't wait to see this sweet little girl blossom into a fantastic family pet
