Kris is a really easy to live with beagle. He loves to be outside smelling everything and does have a beautiful beagle bay when on a scent, but he loves to be walked, so even if he didn’t have a yard he could be leashed walked several times a day. He is totally housebroken, knows the doggie door like a champ and does not have any food aggression. Kris is great on car rides and is good for several hour trips. He is an excellent date when meeting friends for dog friendly lunches. Kris has never met a stranger-- 2 or 4 leggers. He sleeps on the sofa, in a lounge chair or in a dog bed - wherever, and he doesn't mind if another houndie wants to share his space. Kris came to us from a wonderful rescue organization in Mississippi. He is positive for heartworms but the advice of more than one veterinarian is not to treat. SEBR will be happy to provide a special preventative package with Kris's adoption.
