Captain is a leisurely, lazy kind of guy, and he is gentle and affectionate. He will readily approach strangers with a gentle wag of his tail and a sweet expression on his face. Captain loves to sit on furniture, but he's a good listener and will get down when asked to. He loves car rides and loves his harness being put on because he knows he's going for a car ride. He's interested in other dogs, but not a fan of puppies and a little scared of cats. He LOVED the 8 year old boy in his MS foster home and would sit and let him read to him. Captain has been treated for heartworms and did very well. We have discovered however that he has cataracts in both eyes and his vision is extremely limited. After clearing him with a cardiology consult, we have scheduled him for  cataract surgery. He should regain normal vision in both eyes! Stay tuned for updates and videos!
