ADOPTION PENDING
Wow! What a pint-sized little cutie Sami is, and watching her run and have a good time with the other dogs you'd never know she only has three legs! Yes, Sami is a tripod, missing her left hind leg. We don't know how that came to be but it is not recent and she is totally mobile and agile enough to jump up on any couch or bed with impressive fluidity. When Sami was first rescued by our friends at Hero Hound Rescue in Tennessee she had some demodex mange which they immediately addressed. She still needs to grow a little fur back on her ears and paws and also needs to put on a little weight. Fortunately she is heartworm negative! We can also share that she is definitely dog friendly and is also okay with cats. Her house training is going great - no accidents in the house. Sami is not a big fan of the crate but does take her meals and sleeps there quietly at night... Even though she would prefer to be snuggling in her foster mom's bed. Sami is very affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddled with, but she might be a little shy and submissive when first meeting new people. She's a treasure!
