ADOPTION PENDING
1/24/23 UPDATE: We are so pleased with the progress Oliver has made in his foster home! Athough he is shy at first, he warms up quickly and is very affectionate. Oliver really likes being with other dogs. He is not a barker, and is content when in his crate, but his foster family has found him to be well behaved when left alone so lately they have not felt the need to crate him. Oliver prefers sleeping with his people in bed at night, but will sleep in the crate without a fuss. He likes his daily walks and walks well on the leash. He may startle at unexpected things on his walk but Foster mom is teaching him to quietly wait and then move on. He is gradually gaining confidence and we could not be more proud of him!
Oliver has arrived in Florida but this sweet beagle is not quite ready for adoption as he is just too timid and he is a flight risk. He is in a great foster home where we will first strive to help him feel safe, and then gradually start working on his confidence. Oliver loves other dogs but will avoid little children like the plague! We will keep you posted on on his progress.
