***Update - Peanut is Heartworm Negative!
Look at those little legs!! Peanut appears to be a beagle /basset mix but he is a lovely beagle size. This little guy's family was experiencing some serious health issues and felt they could no longer take care of Peanut. SEBR was contacted and we agreed to take him in. Peanut comes from a family with children and is appears to be good with other dogs. We are told he does like to chase cats though. We will be excited to share more about this cute little fellow after he has settled into his foster home. We have an appointment very soon for Peanut to be neutered and tested for heartworms so we will update on that as well.
