FLASH HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING AND WILL BE GOING ON A SLEEPOVER!
Flash's eyes are healed really well now - you can't even tell this boy had double cherry eye thanks to our wonderful vet!
Update on Flash - this wonderful little beagle is great with other dogs but he LOVES his humans! Flash is very affectionate and loves having his ears, head and tummy rubbed - in fact, he will follow you around to get more...or just to be near you. Flash is happy to be a lap dog or a bed buddy and will sleep next to you as tight as a spoon. He does tend to play with the covers and remake your bed a bit though. Flash enjoys his leash walks but does tend to move fast; his foster mom says she sometimes jogs to his trot. He is doing well with housetraining but may possibly need a refresher course when he goes to a new home. Bones, toys and geckos (he's quite a hunter) are all very amusing to him and he loves to engage in play with humans or other dogs - and dogs of all sizes. Flash is doing well with come, sit and down and responds well to a firm "no" when necessary. What a great beagle buddy this guy will be to a lucky family!
This is FLASH! He is quite happy about having been rescued, but bless his little heart, he starting out his new life recovering from double cherry eye surgery! Yes, it's the CONE!!! But when this little guy has healed up, boy he will be even more handsome! He is a little uncertain about his new surroundings, and certainly the cone doesn't help - but he is curious and investigating. Flash is comfortable around the other dogs he is meeting and does the normal sniffing and will sometimes follow them around. He is certainly showing signs of enjoying the affection from the humans in his foster home. We will give you more information about Flash when he has had a chance to recover more and get out of that darned cone!! We will also share some updated pics of his handsome beagle face!
