BUSTER III HAS A SLEEPOVER SCHEDULED WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!
Update: Buster III is doing great!! He crates super well at night and when left alone and is really a pretty quiet dog, only barking a few times when there is a reason to bark. He has enough beagle in him to be totally into food and he has pretty much learned all he needs to know in his foster home right off... where and when the food comes, how to suck up to mom, when to wait patiently and look cute, and how to get every last piece of kibble from a Wobble Kong or Buster Ball. Dog doors are no problem for this sharp little guy, but he has not yet completed his activity restrictions from heartworm treatment so he is not yet free to run in the yard. Buster is doing well though and we only have a bit more to go before he can have a little more freedom off leash. He is just starting to get interested in toys and although he is doing fine with all the other dogs in his foster home, his primary interests are humans, food and sniffing about the yard. Buster is really easy to have around and just so appreciative of any kindness and affection that are shown to him. All in all - he is a just a great dog!
What a perky little guy is Buster III - alert and focused! We wish he could tell us how he got his little injuries... or maybe not... nevermind, life will be different for him now. Buster III enjoyed meeting new people at a recent adoption event and was quite relaxed while being held on a volunteer's lap and stroked and petted. We will look forward to sharing more about this little dude as he settles in.
