BUSTER II IS ON SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!
09/10/13 Update: Buster II is doing great in his foster home! He is halfway through his activity restriction period for heartworm treatment and he is tolerating it pretty well. He would really love to be free to run in the yard, but instead is learning not to pull on a leash. He is also doing well with being crated and has adjusted to being in the crate lwhen left alone. Buster II is playful but gentle, and although there are no children in his foster home, he would probably do well with kids. He has lots of personality and, although he does not give kisses, is very affectionate and wants to be with people. He is absolutely super with other dogs too!
NEW ARRIVAL: Little Buster II is a really happy and sweet natured beagle boy. He has done wonderfully with meeting new dogs and would love to be able to play - but he has just been neutered and treated for heartworms so we can't let him get too carried away just yet. Buster II certainly likes toys and he doesn't mind at all sitting in your lap and being petted - although it may be sort of a new experience for him. He wags his tail almost constantly! Buster walks reasonably well on a leash and is responsive to corrections not to pull, he has not tried to mark in the house and will curl up quietly in a crate when he is required to - but he does have a full volume beagle bark when he decides to talk. We will learn more about this little guy as he has time to adjust to his foster home. He sure is a cute little thing!
