ADOPTION PENDING

Update 2/7/23 - Isabelle's foster Dad says she is simply super sweet.  Although she doesn't pursue play with the other dog in the house, she is just fine with the resident dog.  She enjoys her leashed walks and that's good because she wants to regain her figure.  She gets excited when she sees other people on her walks and wants to introduce her charming self to them.  She enjoys her walks so much - when it's time - she's insistent on getting out to sniff and walk and meet lots of people.  She's accident free in her foster home, her foster Dad said she gets straight A's on house training.  She was crated her first day in the foster home but since then, she has been house trustworthy and the crate door remains open now.  She comes and goes from her crate - enjoying the crate to relax and take a nap.  She enjoys a lazy nap on the couch and enjoys her breakfast and dinner.  She's only barked on occasion when the other dog gets excited but once she lets out a few barks, she goes back to her business.  She's learning to trust human movements and she may still back away initially when you go to pet her but she still seeks out your attention.  She warms up to people easily.  Please fill out a dog adoption survey or if you've already filled one out - just let us know if you're interested in a sleepover with Isabelle.

Isabel was surrendered by her owners and came from Tennesee to find a new home in Florida. Regrettably, she is significanly overweight, but we will be pleased to help her with that. Other than her chunkiness, Isabel has everthing going for her! She is very easy with other dogs and has shown herself to be good with little children. Mostly Isabel wants affection... and of course food. She is heartworm negative and medically ready to be adopted ...but we will want to see a few pounds come off her before we send her on a sleepover. Stay tuned for this lovely girl's progress!!
