ADOPTION PENDING
MEET PETIE IV! PETIE comes to us from South Carolina where he was found as an abandoned hunting dog by a lady who rescues German Shepherds. He was emaciated, weary, cold and hungry and about to become the next meal for a pack of coyotes. Petie's finder chose not to turn him over to the shelter for fear of being euthanized in his current state so she took him into her home and nursed him back to health for almost a year and then contacted us to see if we could find him his furever home. PETIE had undergone successful surgery on one of his ears which allowed him to hear again. PETIE'S foster mom reports he is adjusting well and is a very affectionate beagle boy. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and we are told from his finder that he gets along with cats as well. His tail is always wagging despite the sad life he had for the past 3 years. He has a typical beagle appetite, is crate trained and doing well with his housebreaking. He is quite obedient and responds well to his name now that he can hear again. He loves to play and appears very appreciative of the good life he is living now.
