ADOPTION PENDING
Willow is a sweet senior girl who found her way to safety and a new life by squeezing under the gate of a young lady in Tennessee and running up to her house. When she arrived her nails were three inches long, all of her front teeth were either broken or worn down to the gum, she was covered in fleas and ticks and her skin was a mass of bleeding sores and scabs. There is no doubt her life up to that point was one of complete misery. The young lady took pity on Willow and immediately took her to a vet for care and contacted SEBR to see if we could help. Willow is now on her way to health. She has gained weight and is growing a beautiful soft coat. She is a loving girl who enjoys being petted, taking walks and snuggling in her dog bed. She has done well with housetraining and sleeps quietly beside her foster parents bed or in her crate at night. She gets along well with other dogs and everyone she meets. She loves children and is very gentile with them. Her tail is constantly wagging and follows her foster parents everywhere they go. Willow does not like to be alone and vocalizes her displeasure when her foster family leaves the house but does settle down pretty quickly and rests quietly in her crate until they return. Willow does have some loss of hearing but this does not hinder her interaction with others. This sweet senior girl deserves a forever home where she can feel safe and loved and receive the loving care that she missed in her previous life.
